SHIPPING:

GOSTRINGS offers a "DELIVERY CONFIRMATION" service for all shippings within the USA. It provides date and time of delivery/attempted delivery upon inquiry.

We offer free shipping on violin and viola cases over $100 and Cello cases over $700 in the continental US.

If you are a local customer, please feel free to take advantage of our pickup service to avoid shipping charges.

We offer Free Standard Domestic Ground Shipping on all string only orders over $100.00 In the USA.

*If you use the lowest shipping charge like FIRST CLASS MAIL or FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL, Gostrings does not hold any responsibility for lost or damaged items.*

You can ask Gostrings to insure the package for the full value of the items. We will email you the cost and if you agree to it, will charge your card for that extra amount. (the custom value will be the same as the insured value).

Violin, Viola and Cello cases are shipped in the US with Fedex Ground (tracking number included) and internationally with USPS priority Mail. Please let us know if you would like us to insure the case for the full value (additional fees may apply for International orders).

If you order next day air after Thursday 3PM EST and you need the order to arrive on Saturday, you will need to give us a call or email requesting Saturday delivery, as it will cost you a higher shipping charge. USA domestic next day air orders placed after Thursday 3PM EST will be delivered most likely on Monday, not on Saturday.

Orders placed Friday after 4.00pm EST Friday will be shipped on Monday. The only reason we might have to delay an order is if we do not have an item in stock or if the credit card gets denied. In both cases you will be notified by e-mail.

When shipping Violin, Viola, and Cello cases and outfits, or shipping with express, Fedex, or next day service, please understand that our shipping quotes during checkout may be subject to change. If our prices do not match the quote you were given, we will contact you before placing the order. If we do proceed with the shipment, please note that your credit card will be billed by Gostrings.com for the difference.



DELIVERY TIMES:

Domestic United States:

First Class Mail: 2-5 business days;

3 Day Select: 1-3 business days;

Next Day Air: Is an overnight service (Saturday delivery must be requested by the customer and requires an extra charge). Most next day orders placed on Friday will arrive on Monday. If you need a Saturday delivery, please specify on the Comments section of the order and we will do our best to accommodate you!

All orders received after 3PM Eastern Time, will be considered as received the day after.

International Delivery Times:

First Class International Mail usually takes 8-12 business days. Please note that these packages cannot be tracked outside of the United States.

USPS Express Mail: 5-8 Business days. This service is automatically insured against loss or damage up for up to $100, and it comes with a tracking number.

NEXT DAY AIR, takes 2-5 business days depending on the country. If you order next day air after Thursday 3PM EST and you need the order to arrive on Saturday, you will need to give us a call or email requesting Saturday delivery, as it will cost you a higher shipping charge. USA domestic next day air orders placed after Thursday 3PM EST will be delivered most likely on Monday, not on Saturday.

*For international orders we encourage our customers to use Express International Mail, especially in countries where the postal offices are not very reliable.

RETURNS, REFUNDS:

We will issue refunds or resend an item if the customer has received the wrong item: we will refund the customer for the shipping costs for First Class Mail International or send them a stamped envelope in the USA. It is very important that the items get returned to us. If the items are not returned within a week of receipt by the customer of the items, we will assume that the customer has decided to keep the items and we will have to charge the credit card.

There will be no refunds of any kind on items received by a client after 2 weeks from delivery time.

There will be no refunds of any kind on items received by a client where the package, envelope, has been damaged by the mail carrier, post office, Fedex. And the items in the package, envelope have been damaged.

If a string has been strung up on the instrument, no refunds will be provided. Exchanges require product reviews by the management to ensure products are not faulty due to user error.

Gift certificates are valid for one year after their purchase.
